Leadership & Governance

Armstrong University is guided by a structured system of leadership and governance that ensures accountability, transparency, and effective institutional oversight. The University’s governance framework supports its mission, strategic priorities, and commitment to academic quality.

Armstrong is led by executive leadership, including the President and senior administrative officers, who are responsible for the day-to-day operations and implementation of institutional goals. Leadership works collaboratively to promote student success, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across all areas of the University.

Oversight is provided by a governing body or Board, which establishes institutional policies, provides strategic direction, and ensures Armstrong operates in alignment with its mission and applicable regulatory requirements. The Board maintains an active role in long-term planning, financial stewardship, and institutional integrity.

Armstrong also supports shared governance by engaging faculty and administrative stakeholders in decision-making processes related to academic programs, curriculum development, and institutional effectiveness. This collaborative approach fosters a culture of inclusivity, accountability, and informed leadership.

Through its leadership and governance structure, Armstrong maintains a strong foundation for responsible management, academic excellence, and sustainable growth.
